Numa cerimónia cheia de glamour e com actuações inesquecíveis, ontem à noite, depois de um tributo à diva da Soul Aretha Franklin, os prémios começaram a ser atribuídos um depois do outro.
Esta foi uma noite de festa que fez desfilar pelo palco do Staples Theater nomes como Lady Gaga (que fiel ao seu estilo extravagante chegou dentro de um ovo e fez furor com a sua nova canção em estreia mundial no palco destes prémios "Born This Way"), Justin Beaver (que fez um dueto surpeendente primeiro com Jaden Smith e depois, em medley, passou a um emocionante e bem conseguido despique com o seu idolo Usher), Christina Aguilera, Muse, Bob Dylan, Lady Antebellum ou Mick Jagger que fez a sua primeira actuação num palco dos Grammys.
Bem ao estilo do famosos e conhecido estilo de Showbiz americano a noite foi dando espectáculo, números bem conseguidos e prémios aos melhores do ano musical de 2010.
Vencedor da noite? A resposta foi clara - Lady Antebellum com os seus 5 gramofones dourados (apesar de terem falhado o grande prémio da noite para os The Suburbs - Album of the Year).
Mas os vencedores foram muitos e variados. Da surpresa de Esperanza Spalding que ganhou o Best New Artist ao empate na categoria de Best Engineered Album, Classical ao Grammy de Jon Stewart, muitos foram os artistas que viram o seu trabalho premiado.
